Xiaomi has now introduced the POCO M6 4G, which it intends to sell globally as just the POCO M6. For context, the POCO M6 is the fourth POCO M6 series device released so far after the POCO M6 5G, POCO M6 Pro 4G (curr. $192.50 on Amazon) and the POCO M6 Pro 5G. However, there is also strong evidence to suggest that the company has developed a POCO M6 Plus 5G too.
Ultimately, the POCO M6 4G is the new Redmi 13 4G by another name. Thus, the former is a budget-friendly option with a 108 MP primary camera, a 1080p display and a 5,030 mAh battery that supports 33 W wired charging. For reference, the 108 MP sensor has a 1/1.67-inch optical format that offers 9-in-1 pixel binning to 12 MP and is said to provide 3x lossless zoom. Moreover, Xiaomi includes a 2 MP macro camera and a 13 MP front-facing camera that can record videos in up to 1080p and 30 FPS.
Meanwhile, the IPS display spans 6.79-inches across with a 90 Hz refresh rate, a 1,500:1 contrast ratio and 550 nits HBM peak brightness. Furthermore, the POCO M6 4G finds itself with a MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chipset and up to 8 GB of RAM, just like the Redmi 13 4G. The Redmi 13 will be orderable globally from June 11 with early bird pricing lasting until June 17. According to Xiaomi, the POCO M6 4G will be initially available for the following prices:
- 6 GB RAM/128 GB storage - $129/£129 (£159 MSRP)
- 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage - $149/£149 (£179 MSRP)
