Philips Hue has released an upgraded version of the Milliskin recessed spotlight. Using the brand's new GU10 bulb, the latest version of the smart spotlight is said to be brighter than its predecessor and has a significantly longer expected lifetime.

The Philips Hue Milliskin recessed spotlight has been refreshed for the European market. Designed for the living room or bedroom, the intelligent light is available in two colorways: an aluminum finish on the outer with a black bulb casing or a white frame and aluminum inner.

Thanks to Philips Hue's latest GU10 bulbs, the new Milliskin recessed spotlight has a higher brightness level, delivering up to 400 lumens at a color temperature of 4,000K. This is an improvement on the 350 lumens brightness of the older model. The upgraded model is also said to have a significantly longer lifetime of 25,000 hours, an increase of 10,000 hours from its predecessor. The spot head is adjustable, providing dimmable warm and cool white light. You can connect to the Philips Hue app via Bluetooth for remote controls and the ability to adjust multiple smart lights simultaneously.

You can now buy the Philips Hue Milliskin recessed spotlight in EU countries like France for €44.99, with a pack of three costing €109.99. In the UK, the products cost £39.99 and £99.99, though both are currently out of stock. It is worth noting that the white versions of these smart lights are included in the Create Your Own Starter Kit promotion, offering a 20% discount on bundles with the Hue Bridge.
