Lenovo launching new 360Hz gaming monitor globally with USB-C and Dual Mode technology

Lenovo has shared new details about its latest Dual Mode gaming monitor. To recap, the company introduced the Legion 27U-20 in August alongside the LOQ Essential 15IPH11 and LOQ Essential 15IRH11. Additionally, it unveiled the LOQ Tower 17IRH11, which has now been released across Europe and Asia.
Initially, Lenovo reported that the Legion 27U-20 would be available in January 2027 as a superior alternative to existing 27-inch gaming monitors like the Legion 27QD-10 (curr. $299 on Amazon). Moreover, it revealed that the monitor would retail for $499 in the US and €369 in the Eurozone. However, the company did not confirm whether the 27-inch monitor would be launching elsewhere.
Now, it has added the Legion 27U-20 to its Product Specifications Reference (PSREF) page. In the process, it has confirmed that regional variants will be available across Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and South Asia. Not only that, but PSREF reveals that no regional variants exist, either.
As a result, the Legion 27U-20 always features a 27-inch IPS panel that outputs at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels (4K) with 400 nits peak brightness and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. Furthermore, the monitor boasts a 180Hz refresh rate at 4K, which it can double to 360Hz by dropping its resolution to 1080p. On top of that, the monitor is Delta E <2 factory calibrated, supports variable refresh rate technologies and contains the following ports:
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 2x HDMI 2.1 (TMDS)
- 2x USB Type-A (5Gbps / USB 3.2 Gen 1 / downstream)
- 1x USB Type-B (5Gbps / USB 3.2 Gen 1 / upstream)
- 2x USB Type-C (5Gbps / USB 3.2 Gen 1 / downstream)
