Lenovo releases new budget gaming laptop in more countries with 165 Hz display and 75 W GPU

Lenovo has quietly released a new budget gaming laptop in North America. Specifically, it is now offering the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 in Canada and the US featuring Intel's Raptor Lake Refresh architecture. Incidentally, the company launched the same laptop almost two months ago in Europe.
Currently, Lenovo is only offering the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 as a single SKU. However, the company's Product Specifications Reference (PSREF) website confirms that other variants will eventually be available, too. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when that will be the case.
In the meantime, the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 can be purchased with the Core 7 230H, a 10-core processor with 4 E-cores, 6 P-cores and 16 threads. Additionally, Lenovo includes the 4 GB version of Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3050 laptop GPU running at 75 W, including 15 W Dynamic Boost. As a result, the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 will be less powerful than the cheaper LOQ Essential 15IRX11 in many instances (curr. $1,319 on Amazon).
Moreover, Lenovo equips its new budget gaming laptop with 16 GB of DDR5-5200 RAM, a 512 GB M.2 2242 SSD and a 60 Wh battery. Also, the company has included a 1200p IPS display boasting a 165 Hz refresh rate, 300 nits peak brightness, 100% sRGB colour space coverage and an anti-glare coating. The LOQ Essential 15IRH11 can be purchased for CAD 1,910.99 and $1,476.99 in Canada and the US, respectively.
