With a Horizon Forbidden West (curr. $30 on Amazon) sequel nowhere in sight, Guerrilla Games plans to keep the franchise alive with an intriguing addition. Renowned leaker Bilibilkun has shed light on the studio's next game titled LEGO Horizon Adventures. As its name suggests, it will be a LEGO adaptation of the Horizon universe, similar to LEGO Star Wars.
The leaker adds LEGO Horizon Adventures will be unveiled at the Summer Game Fest on June 7, with pre-orders expected to go live the next day (June 8). The game will be sold in Standard and Deluxe Editions and will be available on PC and PlayStation at launch, with no word about its launch on the last-gen PlayStation 4.
Additionally, LEGO Horizon Adventures will have in-app purchases. That, combined with its day-one PC release, tacitly implies it will have live-service elements similar to Helldivers 2.Thankfully, the game will launch with cross-platform support, but mandates a PlayStation Network ID. For now, there's word about how much LEGO Horizon Adventures will cost, but a $70 price tag seems unlikely, at least for the standard edition.
