MagyarHuawei shares new update with improved heart rate tracking for Watch GT 3 Pro
The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro smartwatch is receiving firmware version 4.0.0.118 (SP1C00M08) worldwide. This is another release on HarmonyOS 4.0, not an upgrade to the newer HarmonyOS 4.2. The update, 113MB in size, appears to be rolling out to users of the wearable in countries worldwide.
Version 4.0.0.118 brings two changes to the GT 3 Pro. The first is said to be an improved user experience for sleep monitoring. However, Huawei does not provide details of precisely what has been optimized in the change log. The second enhancement is a better user experience for heart rate measurements. Again, unfortunately, the release notes do not explain what has been altered.
As with other updates, the new software for the GT 3 Pro smartwatch can be installed via the Huawei Health app. The company recommends that users ensure they have the latest version of the app before proceeding. Plus, Huawei suggests that the update process could take several hours to complete. Whether the release is rolling out in phases or is already available to all watches is unclear. Huawei has also recently shared updates for the Watch Fit 3 and the Watch Ultimate.
