Garmin releases new updates with multiple improvements for over half a dozen devices

Hardly any time has passed since Garmin refreshed its Edge cycling computer series with new models. Specifically, the company introduced the Edge Explore 3, Edge Explore 3 Plus and the Edge 1060 (curr. $799 on Amazon) simultaneously on October 20.
Now, Garmin has returned to its existing cycling computers with new updates. Currently, the company is offering these only through its Beta Program. However, enrollment is free. Please see the company's associated support page for more details about joining the Garmin Beta Program.
On the one hand, Garmin is offering Public Beta 31.68 to the Edge 540, Edge 840 and Edge 1040. In a forum post, the company claims that the update fixes an issue that caused some CIQ apps to turn off light network functionality. Also, it advises Edge 540, Edge 840 and Edge 1040 owners to select 'Upload RAM Dump' if a 'Collecting diagnostics' notification persists.
On the other hand, Public Beta 33.15 is available across the Edge MTB, Edge 550, Edge 850 and Edge 1050. In all cases, Garmin reports that Public Beta 33.15 fixes BaseCamp support. Additionally, it asserts that the same update improves device stability in unspecified areas. Moreover, Public Beta 33.15 is said to fix 'various minor bugs' too. Garmin has not revealed when it plans to offer any of these new updates on its stable software channel, though.
