The Garmin Bounce 2 continues to receive regular software updates.
Garmin has released a new update for one of its budget smartwatches. Rolling out as new stable firmware, Software Update 18.23 is said to improve the Bounce 2 in multiple areas, following the introduction of multiple other stable updates in the last few months.

Garmin has introduced a new stable update for one of its LTE and AMOLED-equipped smartwatches. For context, the company has just furnished the Fenix 8 series with new beta firmware. At the same time, it has finally started offering beta software to the newer Fenix 9 series, including the Enduro 4.

By contrast, it has brought out a new stable update for the Bounce 2 (curr. $280 on Amazon). The third v18.xx update for the smartwatch, Software Update 18.23 follows Software Update 18.21 from about a month ago. Prior to that, Garmin issued v18.19, v17.27 and v17.23, which each promised to improve the Bounce 2 in multiple areas.

In comparison, Software Update 18.23 contains a relatively elusive changelog. Specifically, Garmin only describes 'bug fixes' in a forum post. Unfortunately, the company has not elaborated further in this regard about what issues it has addressed.

At the time of publication, Garmin claims to have offered Software Update 18.23 to all Bounce 2 smartwatches. If that has not occurred in your case, then you can download v18.23 via the Garmin Jr. app. Please see the company's forum post for more details.
