The Garmin Fenix 7 series has been running v17.23 for a while now, as have Enduro 2, Epix 2, Marq 2 and Quatix 7 smartwatches. Now, Garmin has started rolling out Beta Version 17.26, which it claims addresses an outstanding issue related to Daily Suggested Workouts not showing.

Garmin has introduced a new beta update for the Fenix 7 series, nearly a month after it flighted Beta Version 17.23. Since then, it transitioned Beta Version 17.23 to a stable update, before outlining a June 2024 feature update for the Enduro 2, Epix 2, Fenix 7, Marq 2 and Quatix 7 (curr. $589.99 on Amazon), among others.

Now, Garmin has announced Beta Version 17.26, which it is only distributing to standard Enduro 2, Epix 2, Fenix 7, Marq 2 and Quatix 7 smartwatches, for the time being. As such, one cannot download Beta Version 17.26 to any Fenix 7 Pro smartwatch yet, nor the various Epix 2 Pro models that Garmin still sells.

Also, it is worth noting that Garmin has disabled electrocardiogram (ECG) functionality on Beta Version 17.26. While this affects most beta builds, Garmin still stresses the limitation on its forum posts for new Beta Program participants. Supposedly, Beta Version 17.26 addresses a problem in Beta Version 17.23 and Software Version 17.23 that prevented Daily Suggested Workouts from popping up. Please see Garmin's post and Beta Bug Reports forum for more details.
