Xiaomi has just released the POCO M6, a 4G smartphone that differs from the older POCO M6 5G in multiple areas. In short, the POCO M6 4G is the fourth POCO M6 series model that it has unveiled so far. However, more evidence has now emerged of a fifth POCO M6 model being in development.
As expected, this fifth POCO M6 series model is the POCO M6 Plus 5G. Unsurprisingly, the Google Play Console confirms that Xiaomi has equipped the device with a 1080p display, as well as 8 GB of RAM. On top of that, the database result lists the handset as featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and Android 14, just like the POCO M6 Pro 5G.
Thus, it seems that the POCO M6 Plus 5G will slot in above Xiaomi's standard POCO M6 models but below the POCO M6 Pro 4G (curr. $192.50 on Amazon) and POCO M6 Pro 5G. Unfortunately, a release date remains unclear for now. Nonetheless, its appearance on the Google Play Console associated with only the model number '24065PC95I' implies that Xiaomi will limit the POCO M6 Plus 5G's release to just India.
