ESR has announced that the latest addition to its Geo Wallet series will be the first to be an actual wallet and not something for the back of a MagSafe-compatible mobile device. Nevertheless, it is touted to work with Apple's Find My app, and may, thus, be more theft- and loss-resistant. The OEM is currently taking reservations for the new smart everyday carry accessory crowdfunding campaign with a 10% discount offer.

ESR's next-gen Geo Wallet can't go on the back of an iPhone - but it can show up in a 15-series device's Find My app, in what is slated as a "world first" for personal accessories of that nature.

On the other hand, it is a very traditional piece of everyday carry without a compact or minimal design otherwise. Accordingly, the OEM asserts that it has "ample storage" for physical cash as well as multiple cards and IDs.

Then again, there seems little scope for additional ESR features such as Qi2 with HaloLock or the ability to charge anything. Nevertheless, the OEM has announced plans to launch it via Kickstarter on July 31, 2024.

In the meantime, interested consumers can avail of the opportunity to take $1 out of their current wallet and give it to ESR, presumably to lock a super early bird slot down now.

Doing so will apparently guarantee you $10 off the (to be determined) introductory price of the first-gen ESR Geo Wallet with Find My. Meanwhile, the existing Geo Wallet for iPhone is up to 32% off on Amazon at the time of writing.
