70mai asserts that its latest dash cam can act as an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) as well as a vehicle surveillance system. Based on the on-trend Sony STARVIS 2 sensor, the A510 is also packed with features such as night vision, HDR and fast wireless connections that be delivered via inbuilt 4G/LTE as well as Wi-Fi.

70mai, a smart accessory and security brand historically linked to Xiaomi, has just streamlined its naming schemes by introducing the successor to its former flagship Dash Cam Pro Plus+ as the A510.

The new in-car surveillance system is no downgrade, however, with features such as Bluetooth Fast Pairing and on-board GPS to go with its Sony IMX675-based STARVIS 2 sensor touted to record exceptionally detailed footage through the A510's 2592*1944p (front) and 1920*1080 (rear) cameras, with Super Night Vision to boot.

Furthermore, 70mai asserts that the A510 can upgrade even older cars with a form of ADAS, thanks to "real-time voice alerts" emitted when potential dangers are detected. The dash cam can also avail of "uninterrupted connectivity" with its 4G Hardwire kit - although it is an optional purchase only available in certain regions.

The 70mai A510 has been released to Amazon at a price of $139.99 with a free 64GB microSD card and a 15% off coupon for a limited time.
