It goes without saying that the top-end RTX 5090 configuration of Lenovo's latest Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 OLED gaming laptop is still very pricey and only suitable for high-end gamers with a huge budget.

It's probably going to take a few more months until most RTX 5000-equipped gaming laptops will reach reasonable price points, especially in comparison to the steeply discounted last-gen models. In the meantime, affluent enthusiasts have to pay a premium for high-end notebooks like the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10, but it should be mentioned that even these machines can already be found at discounted sale prices.

For example, a couple of weeks after Antonline offered the lowest price for said Legion Pro 7i with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, the New York City-based retailer B&H Photo Video has now undercut that deal by another $100 and is selling the gaming laptop for $3,699 including free shipping. This results in savings of roughly 7% compared to MSRP. On top of that, this particular configuration of Lenovo's 16-inch machine has 2TB instead of 1TB of SSD storage, but it sports the same 32GB DDR5 memory and 240Hz OLED display.

In any case, gamers should read our in-depth review of the Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 before placing their order. Please also check out our accompanying review video on YouTube. The unit we tested was not equipped with Nvidia's fastest mobile graphics card, but all remaining components are basically identical, which means that most of our findings will apply to the model variant that's on sale here.

Among other things, new owners can look forward to a notebook with an extremely fast processor and GPU, but the Legion Pro 7i also consumes more energy than most other laptops and can get very hot under full load. On the other hand, the QHD OLED display is a real looker and offers both Advanced Optimus and G-Sync. There are certainly gaming laptop deals with a better price-performance ratio available these days, but for demanding users who don't want to make any compromises in terms of performance, this offer can be worth considering.
