Wuben G6 flashlight is thinner than iPhone 18 Pro, launches for the equivalent of $35

Wuben's latest flashlight is just 8.6 millimeters thick, making it 0.2 millimeters thinner than the Apple iPhone 18 Pro ($1,439 on Amazon). Nevertheless, Wuben manages to pack a number of unusual features into the aluminum housing, led by a small, fold-out pocket knife.
The flashlight achieves a maximum brightness of 500 lumens. Wuben also includes two LEDs on the side that deliver a brightness of 100 lumens. These LEDs are intended to be useful as a reading light at night, for example, or to indicate the user's location on a nighttime hike when the flashlight is attached to a backpack. A large, tactile button is designed to make switching the flashlight on and off particularly easy.
The 40-gram flashlight has an integrated 400 mAh battery that charges via USB-C. Wuben advertises a battery life of up to 72 hours at 1 lumen, but this drops to 45 minutes at a brightness of 300 lumens. A clip and an integrated carabiner allow the flashlight to be easily attached to a keychain, jacket or backpack. The body is IP67-certified and therefore waterproof.
Pricing and availability
The Wuben G6 multifunction flashlight is currently being funded on Kickstarter. The early-bird price for the flashlight is equivalent to $35, plus shipping, tax and customs duties. Shipping is expected to begin in January 2027. Although Wuben is already an established flashlight manufacturer, backing Kickstarter campaigns always carries the risk of products being delivered late or with quality issues.
