reMarkable Paper Pure gets a new premium accessory

A few months ago, reMarkable launched the Paper Pure E Ink tablet as a successor to the discontinued reMarkable 2. The tablet arrived alongside a handful of accessories that can be purchased separately or in a bundle with the tablet. Now, reMarkable has released a new premium accessory.

The new accessory is a leather sleeve folio that joins the previously announced sleeve folios that are made from polycarbonate and microfiber. The leather folio is available in a single color option called Forest Brown, although we won't rule out the possibility of a black version launching later. The inside of the sleeve is lined with a blue protective microfiber padding and there are magnets that wake and lock the Paper Pure when it is removed and inserted respectively. 

The new leather sleeve folio is available in Forest Brown and costs $129, nearly double the price of the polycarbonate folio which costs $69 and comes in Mist Green, Desert Pink, and Ocean Blue. reMarkable is also selling a bundle on its website that includes the reMarkable Paper Pure, the new leather sleeve folio, and the Marker Plus for $549.

The bundle that includes the polycarbonate sleeve folio and Marker Plus costs $499 (available on Amazon) while the base bundle which consists of the tablet and the standard Marker stylus is priced at $399.
