A British premium e-bike manufacturer, Raleigh has introduced its new One e-bike in the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK. Raleigh’s new e-bike is aimed at the European urban mobility market and comes with high-end features and a sturdy build. More specifically, the e-bike combines classic British cycling heritage with modern connected tech.
The urban-focused One e-bike is powered by a 250 W Mivice rear hub motor that delivers a top assistance speed of 15.5 miles (25 kph). The accompanying 360 Wh battery is said to offer up to 80 km (50 miles) of range in eco mode and around 50 km (31 miles) in boost mode. Furthermore, the e-bike is equipped with a Gates carbon belt drive for low maintenance and grease-free operation.
Raleigh also packs an SP Connect mount for the rider’s phone, which allows for hands-free use of Raleigh’s new app. As far as the connectivity features are concerned, the brand offers plenty of the latest connectivity features via its companion app, including auto-unlocking, journey tracking, alarm features, GPS location, and theft alerts.
The One features wide tires paired with hydraulic disc brakes, which ensures a smooth ride even on bumpy roads. Other features include riser bars, a fully integrated and smart-enabled wraparound rear light and a dual front beam. Raleigh also introduces a membership model to use some of its premium features, such as sharing digital unlock access and more. The membership consists of three tiers—the free base, core, and icon, which start at €7.99 and €14.99 per month, respectively.
Available in a white colorway, the Raleigh One is priced at €2,699/£2,399. However, there’s no word on availability yet.
