Oppo has expanded its Reno14 series with the launch of a new Oppo Reno14 F smartphone. Now, the Reno14 series consists of a total of three smartphones—the base Reno14, the Reno14 Pro, and the latest addition, the Reno14 F. Oppo packs a decent set of features into the Reno14 F.
Speaking of display, the smartphone sports a 6.57-inch AMOLED display that outputs at a resolution of 2372 x 1080 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1400 nits. Oppo packs a triple rear camera setup into the Reno14 F, consisting of a 50 MP Sony IMX882 OIS-enabled primary camera, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP macro shooter. Upfront, you’ll find a 32 MP selfie camera.
Unlike its siblings, such as the Reno14 and the Reno14 Pro with MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, the Reno14F features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The chipset is complemented by up to 12 GB of LPDDRX RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage with no room for storage expansion. The device boots Android 15-based ColorOS 15 out of the box. As usual, there’s no word on software support for the device from the brand.
The battery capacity of the device is slightly smaller than the Pro variant, featuring a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 45 W wired charging. Furthermore, Oppo has also incorporated some AI-powered photography features into the smartphone, including AI Flash LivePhoto, AI LivePhoto Export, AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, and AI Style Transfer.
The rest of the highlights of the device include an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IP69 rating, and NFC support. Available in three different memory options, the Reno14 F ships with glossy pink, luminous green, and opal green color options. The pricing and availability details of the device are still under wraps.
