Apple may have a new iPhone ringtone released together with the fresh Liquid Glass interface overhaul in the iOS 26 software update.
Called Reflection Encore, the new iPhone ringtone is tucked in the iOS 26 code and sounds like a riff off the default Reflection tune that Apple introduced way back with the first notch-y iPhone X, but with an old Nokia ringtone vibe.
The Reflection Encore ringtone again sounds rather chill and soothing, so it might become a fan favorite and can be instantly previewed instead of waiting for iOS 26 to hit all handsets in the fall.

It remains to be seen if the new ringtone will be exclusive to the iPhone 17 series that may be called iPhone 26 to sync with the iOS naming scheme switcheroo, or the iPhone 16 Pro Max and below will also get the newly remastered version come iOS 26 update time.
Apple's new iOS interface is called Liquid Glass, and it bets heavily on unobtrusive and transparent imagery, so the new Reflection Encore ringtone might be audibly styled to fit the new airy UI and become the new default iPhone ringtone.
People are using ringtones less and less, though, preferring to keep their iPhones on silent, just as they prefer chatting on messaging apps instead of calling.
Still, Reflection Encore is soothing enough for frequent use by those who wish to spruce up their default iPhone ringtone with a new take on the default.
