Japanese brand Fujitsu unveils pricey 2-in-1 laptop with 4-core Intel Twin Lake CPUs and touch support

Fujitsu has introduced a new laptop in its home country of Japan alongside the Note U which we covered in a separate article, dubbed the Note Q.
This 11.6-inch compact laptop with 2-in-1 functionality ports a relatively affordable price tag of just around $685. Fujitsu does have an international presence, although the exact fate of the FMV WQ1-L3 Note Q laptop in this regard remains to be seen.
The laptop comes equipped with an Intel N150 or N250 CPU, paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Both chips feature a four-core, four-thread setup consisting solely of efficiency cores.
Despite the N250 featuring a 200 MHz higher boost clock, both chips perform almost identically, managing roughly 2,780 points in Geekbench 6. Clearly, the Note Q laptop is only good enough for very lightweight workloads and casual office tasks.
The aforementioned 11.6-inch display features a mediocre resolution of 1366 by 768 and boasts support for touch input. The I/O offering is also quite sparse, detailed below:
- USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C
- USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
- 3.5 mm audio jack
- HDMI
The laptop measures in at 28.6 × 20.2 × 1.9 cm, which is approximately 11.2 x 7.95 x 0.75 inches. The laptop is not exactly the lightest either, despite its compact enclosure, weighing in at roughly 1.2 kg, or 2.65 lbs.
Other notable details of the Fujitsu FMV Note Q laptop include physical volume up and down buttons, a power indicator light, a battery status light, a 40 Wh battery and a dedicated slot for storing an optional stylus.
All told, U.S-based customers who'd rather splurge a little extra for a much more capable machine can check out something like the Lenovo Yoga 7i two-in-one, currently available for just around $751 on Lenovo's official U.S. store.
