iQOO's upcoming Snapdragon-powered phone pairs 2K resolution with a 185Hz refresh rate for the first time

According to Digital Chat Station, iQOO's upcoming performance-focused device, the iQOO Neo 12, will continue to feature a 2K display, a signature of the iQOO Neo series. The panel will run at a 185Hz refresh rate, giving the upcoming phone a display with both a high resolution and a high refresh rate. The device is said to be powered by Qualcomm's last-generation silicon, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with a separate gaming-focused chip, the Q3. The leak also describes an active cooling fan and a battery supporting 100W wired charging.
iQOO has officially teased the Neo 12 through a Weibo post featuring the device's rear camera housing under its signature "Monster Inside" branding and confirming an active cooling component. The post also includes a preorder promotion offering bundled accessories and trade-in credit ahead of the phone's full announcement. iQOO has not confirmed a release date, pricing, or full specifications for the Neo 12, though, according to Digital Chat Station, we can expect the phone to launch this October.
