Intel Core i5-13400F vs Intel Core i5-1350P vs Intel Core i7-1360P
Intel Core i5-13400F ► remove from comparison
The Intel Core i5-13400F is a mid-range desktop processor of the Raptor Lake series. It includes a hybrid architecture for the CPU cores with combined 10 cores. Six fast Golden Cove / Raptor Cove performance cores (P-cores) with HyperThreading and a clock speed of 3.5 - 5.1 GHz and four Gracemont efficiency cores without HyperThreading and a clock speed of 2.6 - 3.9 GHz. The 13400F can be based on the older Alder Lake chips (at least for early models) or the newer Raptor Lake chips. The F-series of CPUs do not integrate a iGPU.
The performance is clearly higher than the old Core i5-12400F due to the additional four E-cores. These help in multi-threaded workloads and the higher boost core of the p-cores help for single threaded workloads.
The power consumption of the 13400F is rated at 65 Watt for sustained workloads (PL1) and 148 Watt for short bursts (PL2).
Intel Core i5-1350P ► remove from comparison
The Intel Core i5-1350P is a mid-range Raptor Lake-P (Alder Lake-P refresh) family CPU, a 28 W part meant for use in ultra-light, ultra-thin (yet actively cooled) laptops. This CPU was announced in early 2023 and it has 4 of the 6 performance cores (P-cores, Golden Cove architecture) and 8 efficient cores (E-cores, Gracemont architecture). The P-cores are Hyper-Threading-enabled and clock between 1.9 GHz (base) to 4.7 GHz (single core boost) for a total of 16 threads when combined with the E-cores. The E-cores clock from 1.4 to 3.5 GHz and offer a similar performance as the old Skylake cores.
The performance should be similar to the old Core i7-1260P and therefore well suited for even demanding tasks.
The CPU now supports PCIe 4.0 x8 for a GPU and two PCIe 4.0 x4 for SSDs.
The i5-1350P is rated at 28 Watt TDP (PL1, 64 Watt PL2 for short bursts). The CPU is manufactured in the further improved Intel 7 process (10nm SuperFin).

The Intel Core i7-1360P is a higher-end Raptor Lake-P (Alder Lake-P refresh) family CPU, an expensive 28 W part meant for use in ultra-light, ultra-thin (yet actively cooled) laptops. This CPU was announced in early 2023 and it has 4 of the 6 performance cores (P-cores, Golden Cove architecture) and 8 efficient cores (E-cores, Gracemont architecture). The P-cores are Hyper-Threading-enabled for a total of 16 threads when combined with the E-cores. The P-cores clock from 2.2 GHz (base) to 5 GHz (single core boost) and the E-Cores from 1.6 to 3.7 GHz.
Performance
The average 1360P in our extensive database is in the same league as the Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U, as far as multi-thread benchmark scores are concerned. Which is a pretty good result, as of mid 2023.
Thanks to its decent cooling solution and a long-term CPU power limit of 40 W, the NUC 13 Pro Kit NUC13ANK is among the fastest systems built around the 1360P that we know of. It can be more than two times as fast in CPU-bound workloads as the slowest system featuring the same chip in our database, as of August 2023.
The CPU still only supports PCIe 4.0 x8 for a GPU and two PCIe 4.0 x4 for SSDs.
