Citizen unveils new exclusive Eco-Drive Promaster Dive watches with sapphire crystal

Citizen Canada has just listed three new Promaster Dive references; none of them appear on Citizen’s US store. The cheapest is the BN0251-04L at CA $595, roughly $418. It is also the largest at 44 mm, with a light blue sunray dial, a blue polyurethane strap and a crown moved round to four o’clock rather than the usual three.
The other two cost CA $695, about $488, and share a 40.6 mm case on a triple-link steel bracelet with a safety fold-over clasp and push-button release. The BN0276-54L pairs a blue sunray dial with a blue unidirectional bezel and an orange seconds hand. The BN0270-51E gets a black dial under a bright orange bezel.
All three use Caliber E118, the Eco-Drive movement Citizen introduced earlier this year across four Promaster Marine divers, and all three get sapphire crystals rather than the mineral glass that you might get in this price bracket. Water resistance is 200 meters, the dials carry the Diver's 200 m marking, and each is a three-hander with a date.
Citizen Canada marks all three as 'New' and 'Exclusive'. The second label is the more interesting one, because the three return nothing on Citizen’s US product pages while the older 41 mm BN0260-54L and BN0261-51E both show up normally.
However, with this new range, you are essentially getting one specification in two sizes. The movement, the crystal and the depth rating are identical across all three, so the CA $100 gap buys a bracelet and a smaller case, not anything mechanical. Anyone choosing between them is choosing 44 mm on rubber or 40.6 mm on steel.
