Zeekr 7X (2027) starts pre-sales from 34,300 USD

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Zeekr has officially commenced pre-sales for the updated Zeekr 7X in its home market. The electric SUV continues to be built on a 900V high-performance architecture while introducing numerous detailed refinements.
Key Facts:
- Starting price begins at 229,800 yuan (approximately 34,300 USD)
- Two new exterior colors and 15 interior refinements
- New battery variants available with ultra-fast charging capabilities
Equipment, colors and driver assistance
The model year expands the color palette to a total of eight options, including the new shades Dawn Gold and Cloud Amber Red. Inside, the Brown Rice interior theme adds Napa leather, revised door panels, a suede headliner, and front seats featuring a 12-point massage function. Technically, the 7X offers a cockpit equipped with a 16-inch display and a Snapdragon 8295 chip. In China, the vehicle utilizes the Haohan 2.0 driver assistance system featuring LiDAR alongside dual Nvidia Drive Orin-X chips for highway and urban autonomous driving. Charging duties are supported by the new 85-kWh LFP battery with a 5.5C charging rate, allowing a charge from 10 to 80 percent in 10.5 minutes.
Chinese market technical specs and range
For maximum range, the top-tier variant featuring CATL's 103-kWh Qilin battery is available, delivering a CLTC range of up to 498 miles. The official market launch in China aims to further strengthen the brand's position in the fiercely competitive mid-size electric SUV segment. Initial deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Market availability and alternatives for American buyers
Despite extensive interest driven by the aggressive pricing starting at 34,300 US dollars, the Zeekr 7X is officially not available in the United States, as the brand lacks a consumer sales network there due to regulatory hurdles and high tariffs. American buyers seeking comparable mid-size electric performance SUVs must instead look toward domestic or locally established alternatives. Key options include the Tesla Model Y, the Ford Mustang Mach-E, or the Hyundai Ioniq 5, which offer competitive ranges, advanced tech suites, and full local market availability.
