ZTE Grand X View sales stopped in Canada
Chinese-made ZTE Grand X View tablet arrived in Canada last September via Bell and Virgin, but now sales have been halted. Fortunately, this 8-inch slate should get back in stores soon, since current owners received a mandatory software update to fix the issue that caused the recall.
According to various inside sources quoted by MobileSyrup, "ZTE has stopped selling the Grand X View late last month due to a radio frequency related issue." However, while all inventory has been shipped back to the manufacturer earlier this week, both Bell and Virgin had plans to replenish their stock of Grand X View tablets starting yesterday. Unfortunately, there is no official confirmation of the slate's availability yet.
ZTE Grand X View is a tablet loaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop that has a full HD display, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage with microSD support on top as well, 5 MP front/rear cameras, LTE connectivity, and a 4620 mAh battery.
