Xiaomi releases three new budget monitors with 120Hz refresh rate and USB-C charging

Xiaomi has now released the Redmi A27U series in its home market, having introduced its new monitors over a month ago. Currently, the Redmi A27U 2027 series starts at CNY 1,499 (~$225), discounted to CNY 1,199 (~$179) on Xiaomi's website. For that price, Xiaomi includes a 4K IPS panel boasting 400 nits peak brightness, 98% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and a 75 Hz refresh rate.
However, the standard Redmi A27U 2027 lacks a USB Type-C port. By contrast, the Redmi A27U Type-C 2027 adds this missing connectivity for CNY 1,699 (~$255), or CNY 1,399 (~$210) on Xiaomi's website at the time of publication. Another 4K monitor, the Redmi A27U Type-C 2027 combines a 75 Hz refresh rate with 90 W charging when connected to a compatible laptop.
Finally, Xiaomi is also selling the Redmi A27U Type-C 120Hz 2027 for CNY 1,699 (~$255), discounted from a CNY 1,999 (~$300) MSRP. As its name suggests, this monitor adds a 120 Hz refresh rate to surpass the rest of the Redmi A27U series. Alternatively, the Redmi A27U Type-C 120Hz 2027 can use Dual Mode technology to enable a 1080p/240 Hz mode.
Xiaomi has not confirmed whether it intends to offer the Redmi A27U series globally. For reference, the company already offers other 27-inch monitors outside its home market though, including the 2K Monitor A27Qi (curr. $184.99 on Amazon). Previous releases indicate that Xiaomi will rebrand the Redmi A27U series if it launches them globally, though.
