Xiaomi releases new UltraThin magnetic power bank with 45W charging and upgraded safety features

The Xiaomi Jinshajiang Ultra-thin Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 45W is now available in China after a successful crowdfunding campaign. The new accessory is a follow-up to the super-slim 5,000 mAh model that went on sale globally earlier this year. Xiaomi has not only doubled the capacity but also added safeguards designed to reduce the risk of battery-related fires and explosions.
As we previously reported, the extra capacity comes with a thicker body. The new 10,000 mAh model measures 13.2 mm thick, up from 6 mm on the 5,000 mAh version. However, it is still slimmer than some other magnetic power banks with the same capacity, including the newly released Anker MagGo 2 Pro (curr: $109.99 on Amazon), which measures 17.78 mm. Moreover, the larger battery should come in handy on longer trips or when charging multiple devices.
Charging speeds have seen an upgrade too. The 10,000 mAh model supports up to 20 W wireless charging, up from 15 W on the smaller version. It also delivers up to 45 W through USB-C, enough to charge lightweight laptops such as the MacBook Air. Alongside magnetic wireless charging for supported phones such as the iPhone 18 Pro and Google Pixel 11, it supports PD 3.0, QC, and PPS via USB-C for charging a wider range of devices.
Like the recently unveiled Xiaomi magnetic power bank 10000 with built-in cable, the new model is said to meet the latest safety standards, which require a power bank to pass rigorous tests such as needle penetration and hot-box tests to prevent overheating and explosions. Users can also check battery health and other information by connecting the power bank to a laptop.
Pricing and availability
The Xiaomi Jinshajiang Ultra-thin Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 45W is available in China for 399 yuan ($59.62). Xiaomi has not announced a global launch date, though the 5,000 mAh model is already available globally through its website.
