Xiaomi releases affordable Smart Camera C401 with 2.5K night vision

Xiaomi has started selling a new Smart Camera internationally. for context, the company launched the Smart Camera C401 on its global website in July. However, it did not indicate when it would begin selling its new smart camera, let alone for how much.
Now, it has quietly released the Smart Camera C401 across Oceania, Southeast Asia and the UK. For the time being, we cannot find any active European retail listings, though. Setting that aside, Xiaomi's new smart camera seeks to surpass cheaper models in a few areas, including the Smart Camera C302 (curr. $49 on Amazon).
For instance, the Smart Camera C401 outputs at 4 MP with a 360° view horizontally. Please note that the camera only provides a 101° vertical viewing range. Setting that aside, the Smart Camera C401 captures footage at up to 2.5K (2,560 x 1,440). Seemingly, this video resolution works with Xiaomi's 'enhanced infrared night vision' mode, too.
Moreover, the Smart Camera C401 supports Bluetooth 5.4 and dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, as well as Amazon Alexa and Google Home integrations. One must have a device running at least Android 8 or iOS 14.0, though. On top of that, Xiaomi claims that its camera can detect people, pets and unusual sounds. For reference, footage can be stored on up to a 512 GB microSD card; Xiaomi does not include built-in storage. The Smart Camera C401 can be purchased for AUD 64, IDR 699,000, £45.99 and SGD 64.90 (~$50) in Australia, Indonesia, the UK and Singapore.
