The Redmi Note 17 Pro has been launched in the global market alongside the other three phones of the series. It has a large 8,340mAh battery, and Xiaomi claims that it can offer over 2 days of runtime. There’s a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, and the phone has support for 67W fast charging.

Xiaomi has launched a total of four phones in the global market, and the Redmi Note 17 Pro is one of them. This is a 5G mid-range phone that's powered by a not-so-new Qualcomm SoC, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4.

It's a mid-range SoC from 2025 that's paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The mid-range phone has a 6.83-inch display on the front, and it's an AMOLED panel that sports a 2772x1280 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

This display has a peak brightness rating of 3,500 nits, but unlike the Pro Max model, there's no support for Dolby Vision or HDR10+. It's protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and there are multiple features to ensure a comfortable viewing experience, including the hardware-level TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light tech.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G has an 8,340mAh battery in the EU, and Xiaomi says that it allows the phone to offer over 2 days of runtime. There's support for 67W fast charging, and users can take advantage of the relatively large battery to charge other devices through the 22.5W reverse charging support (60W Beats 20cm type-C cable curr. $11.99 on Amazon).

On the back, the phone has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, and it's paired with an 8MP ultrawide. The front sports a 16MP selfie shooter, and there are multiple AI-enhanced camera features.

Other notable aspects of the Redmi Note 17 Pro include a dual-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, IP66/IP68 ratings, and availability in three colors. In the EU, the configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is retailing for €479.90, which isn't an attractive price for a mid-range phone with a year-old SoC. However, the current DRAM market conditions have impacted all manufacturers, and Xiaomi isn't an exception.
