Xiaomi confirms new premium smartphones launching globally in November with dual displays

In recent years, Xiaomi has left its Pro-branded flagships as Chinese exclusives, with the exception of models like the Xiaomi 17T Pro (curr. $769 on Amazon). However, the company has now confirmed that this will not be the case for the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.
To recap, the company introduced both smartphones simultaneously on September 23 in its home market. Arriving exactly two weeks after the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max, both the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max bear more than a passing resemblance to Apple's latest Pro-branded iPhones.
Now, Xiaomi has revealed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will receive a global release, too. As the embedded tweet below shows, the company has committed to introducing the series later this month. Unfortunately, it has not elaborated further yet, nor has it offered any indication about launch pricing.
Currently, Xiaomi is only expected to unveil the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max globally later this month. By contrast, the rumoured Xiaomi 18 has not even appeared in China yet. Meanwhile, Xiaomi is said to have skipped an Ultra-branded model for its Xiaomi 18 generation. There is no word on Xiaomi 18 Fold availability outside China yet, either.
