Xgimi Elfin Flip Pro (New) Full HD laser projector debuts in Japan with Google TV, 1,000 lumens, and a slim flip-open design

Xgimi has unveiled the Elfin Flip Pro (New) Full HD Google TV projector in Japan. The update to the original 2024 model arrives with an upgraded 3-color RGB laser light source, with an increased 1,000 ISO lumen output and the same iconic flip-up design that won the Visual Grand Prix (VGP) 2025 - Video and Sound Division Gold Award.
The slim Elfin Flip Pro (New) weighs 1.33 kg (2.93 lbs.) and measures 254 x 245 x 75 mm (10.00 × 9.65 × 2.95 in.), allowing it to be stored on a bookshelf to save space. It utilizes Nichia RGB lasers for a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000 to 1 and 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color space. When flipped open up to 150 degrees, the Flip Pro (New) projects an image from 40 inches to 120 inches in size at distances between 1.06 m and 3.2 m (3.48 ft. and 10.5 ft.).

Users can access a vast library of Google TV apps and services, including Netflix and YouTube apps, using a backlit remote control. Audio is output through dual 3-watt Dolby Audio speakers.
The projector can also mirror content from a smartphone using Google Cast or from a laptop using the HDMI port. It can also play media files stored on a USB drive. When not used for active media enjoyment, the Xgimi Wall feature enables the projector to turn walls into soothing nature scenes.
The Xgimi Elfin Flip Pro (New) has an MSRP of 99,800 yen (~$630), but is currently available for 69,800 yen (~$440) after a 30% discount. The laser projector is available for purchase from the Japanese website.
Readers outside Japan can browse similar Flip projectors in the Xgimi store on Amazon, including the Elfin Flip 4K projector that has an even brighter 1,600 ISO lumen light output and higher resolution.
