The next installment of the Call of Duty franchise, Black Ops 6, will be launching on October 25th. This info comes from an Xbox Store listing, which was up for a while and later got removed. The store listing also offers a good amount of information about the upcoming game.
As per the listing, Black Ops 6 will bring a new campaign, which will be set in the early 1990s. The story is set after the end of the Cold War, and it will focus on spy missions. That’s pretty much all that the deleted listing shared about the campaign, but we should be getting a full reveal after the Microsoft Xbox Games Showcase today.
When it comes to the multiplayer, the upcoming Call of Duty game will have 16 new maps during launch. Among them, there will be twelve core 6v6 and four strike maps. The latter can be played in 2v2 and 6v6 modes as well. Zombies mode is returning with Black Ops 6, with a round-based playstyle that will put players against waves of the undead.
According to the Xbox listing, there will be two new Zombies maps during the launch. Previously, Microsoft revealed that Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. It will also be launching on Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, PC, PS4, and PS5 (Slim curr. $449 on Amazon).
