X8B: Mini PC with Intel Core Ultra supports up to 64 GB of RAM, extensive networking features and HDMI

The Fastcalc X8B is a new mini PC that has surfaced on Amazon in Germany, though broad worldwide availability does not appear to be established yet. It is likely a rebranded OEM device rather than a ground-up new design. The model starts at €700 for a configuration with 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD—a fairly minimal setup, though not necessarily a deal-breaker given its expansion options.
The system is clearly tailored for network applications like firewalls or industrial deployments, featuring eight 2.5 GbE ports. However, it is by no means limited to server room duties. With HDMI, DisplayPort, USB Type-C, four USB 3.2 ports, it offers all the connectivity needed for standard desktop use. Broad operating system support is expected, as the Intel Core Ultra 5 125U uses a standard architecture.
Thanks to its fanless design and prominent cooling fins, the X8B operates silently and is well-suited for demanding industrial environments such as factory floors. Hardware maintenance and upgrades are straightforward: its two DDR5 slots accept up to 64 GB of RAM, and the preinstalled M.2 2280 SSD can be easily swapped out.
