Vivo has indicated that a more affordable version of its current flagship tablet is on the way. It is likely to have a smaller display than that of the Pad3 Pro, yet is touted to deliver "shocking" audio and video. It will go to pre-order in China very soon.

Vivo introduced the Pad3 Pro as its first premium tablet of 2024 rather than its vanilla counterpart. However, the Pad3 is now nearly here after all, backed to amaze potential buyers with its alleged 6-speaker potential for entertainment.

Accordingly, it is thought to land as a re-branded iQOO Pad2, although it will at least look like a Vivo product with the traditional choice of blue, purple or light gray color options.

Should that be the case, the Pad3 could debut with a 12.1-inch display. It might be an LCD panel, yet also one of 2.8K in resolution with an unusually high 144Hz refresh rate, driven moreover by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and 8 to perhaps 12GB of RAM.

As a new Vivo tablet, it might also be expected to run OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 out of the box. The Vivo Pad3 is to be unleashed on the Chinese market on June 28, 2024. Meanwhile, the 13-inch Pad3 Pro can be found on Trading Shenzhen from €537 (~$575).
