Reviews for the Vivo X Fold3 Pro
Source: OI Spice Tech News
The Vivo X Fold 3 foldable smartphone brings top-end specs and features according to the 2024 standards. So, if you are looking for a true flagship foldable smartphone experience, the Fold 3 Pro would be a great choice. You will receive almost everything from Lecia optics to seamless software configuration. The phone has an impressive display that can support advanced gameplay and streaming side-by-side. But if you don’t want to spend much on the hardware and want the foldable phone feel, then the Vivo X Fold 3 could be a better deal. At the same time, the phone does lack a few points when compared to the Pro sibling. In our opinion, the Vivo X Fold 3 should have the same hardware configuration as the Pro model. But anyway, the phone didn’t hold back the users from exploring the goodness of extreme gaming performance and delivers amazing camera results. However, both of the models are most likely unavailable in the global smartphone market.

Overall, vivo X Fold3 Pro has found the best balance between thinness and versatility without compromising on user experience. It can be regarded as the most perfect thin and light folding flagship in all aspects to date, even if it is useless. It has an X-axis horizontal linear motor, but these materials, which can only be seen on straight-screen phones, are enough to make it firmly sit on the throne of “folding overlord” in my heart.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is the second thinnest and lightest foldable phone around, measuring 11.2mm thick when folded and weighing 236g. Despite its sleekness, it has arguably the best camera system, and by far the largest battery at 5,700 mAh, and also two ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. It also runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Qualcomm Adreno 750: Graphics chip for smartphones and tablets that is integrated within the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Qualcomm claims that it is 25% faster than the Adreno 7340 in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and first benchmarks show that the GPU can beat the Apple A17 Pro iGPU.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

SD 8 Gen 3: High-end SoC for smartphones that was introduced in late 2022 with a fast prime core based on a ARM Cortex-X3 architecture clocked at up to 3.2 GHz. Two more performance cores are based on the A715 and also support only 64 bit applications. The two additional A710 cores support also 32 bit applications as do the power saving Cortex-A510 cores. In addition to the processor cores, the SoC integrates a WiFi 7 modem, a Hexagon DSP (for AI acceleration) and a Spectra ISP. The integrated memory controller supports fast LPDDR5x memory with up to 4,200 MHz. 5G is included in the chip with the Snapdragon X70 modem.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

Large smartphones and a few small tablets are available for this display size. Unlike most smartphones, you can see more on the screen, more details and use larger resolutions. Such formats are better for people with defective vision. However, such devices are no longer easy to fit in a pocket, and they are probably not quite light either.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.88%: This is an above-average rating. Nevertheless, it should not be forgotten that about one fifth of all tested models receive a better rating.
