Ubiquiti Networks introduces a new series of robust industrial switches for critical infrastructure. The series consists of three new USW models. Alongside the switches, Ubiquiti has also announced the U7 Industrial AP with very distinct features.

Ubiquiti Networks has introduced several new robust network products for the industrial market. The U7 Industrial, for example, is an outdoor-capable WiFi access point (AP) with an IP67 protection rating, according to the manufacturer. The U7 Industrial in its die-cast case supports WiFi 7 on the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands (802.11be) with band steering. The optional 6 GHz band is missing.

For improved roaming, the AP also supports  802.11v, 802.11k, and 802.11r, making it suitable for larger deployments. The U7 Industrial's mounting can withstand high wind loads of 21.9 lbf at 125 mph, according to the data sheet.

The AP also features distinctive, wing-like panels to improve connections. According to Ubiquiti, the "isolator features adjustable panels which control the direction of the WiFi signal, while also rejecting neighboring signals." However, the AP can also be used for 360-degree coverage if needed.

Those features come at a high price, though. A single AP costs $384, including a memory surcharge.

Along with the AP, Ubiquiti has also announced new switches that will be available between November 2026 and January 2027. The new USW Industrial series starts with three switches. All of them have eight RJ45 ports and two SFP ports for transceivers. The cheapest model, at $307, is the non-PoE model. At $362, the PoE++ version supports a 480 W power budget.

The price for the high-end model has yet to be announced. This variant uses four 2.5GbE ports (multi-gigabit, 802.3bz) and four 1GbE RJ45 ports. It also supports SFP+ modules. Ubiquiti hasn't released any data sheet for this multi-gigabit version yet, but the uplink ports should support 10GbE either via optical or RJ45 modules, or via DACs.

All switches come with DIN-rail mounting, redundant DC inputs, and a wide operating temperature range  of -22 to 158 °F.
