Turtle Beach releases Stealth Ultra II controller with TMR sticks, 8K polling, and GateShift

Turtle Beach has updated its Stealth Ultra controller with a version II, and it brings some essential upgrades. The Stealth Ultra II, like its predecessor, is designed for Xbox, PC, and mobile, with no support for the PS5. It also comes with three power mode presets that can be switched to using the Connected Command touchscreen.
Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra II controller features
Starting with the display, it allows on-the-fly adjustments to stick response, dead zones, RGB lighting, button mapping, and more. It looks to be a bit bigger than the display on the original Stealth Ultra. The joysticks now use TMR tech, which should help with improved durability as well as accuracy. Another major upgrade is GateShift profiles for the analog sticks. There is a physical slider around both sticks that lets you switch between three virtual gate profiles.
The Stealth Ultra II can achieve 8K polling in wired mode on PC, while the 2.4 GHz wireless connection is limited to 1K polling (PC). Furthermore, the triggers are adjustable with three actuation settings: hair trigger, medium travel, and full travel. There are also four mappable buttons on the back. The controller comes with a charging dock like its predecessor, and Turtle Beach claims it can last up to 12 hours out of the box and up to 34 hours in the Eco power mode. Due to all these upgrades, it is also heavier at 322 grams.
Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra II controller price and availability
The Stealth Ultra II is priced at $200 and is available for pre-order via the official store. Turtle Beach says it will start shipping on November 12. There seems to be a single-color option, black, and it comes with a carry case as well.
