Amazon and Best Buy boast a 14-inch OLED laptop deal that’s drawing attention. The compact Razer Blade 14 relies on a Ryzen AI 9 365 processor and DLSS 4-compatible RTX 5070 GPU. While the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 may have the performance edge, the Blade 14’s build quality is class-leading.

A 14-inch laptop provides the portable form factor that larger alternatives can’t match. That’s especially the case with the 2025 Razer Blade 14, which is noticeably thinner than its predecessor. While pricey at launch, the version with the RTX 5070 GPU is now more affordable than ever. This gaming laptop deal at Amazon and Best Buy features the Blade 14 for $1,799.99, a $900 discount.

The laptop on sale now is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor. Notebookcheck’s review of the Blade 14 found that the 10-core CPU was only marginally faster than the Ryzen 9 8945HS in the 2024 version. Still, its efficiency leads to impressive battery life and minimizes the need for recharging.

A 2880x1800 OLED display places the Razer laptop in the premium bracket. HDR brightness isn’t spectacular, but its high contrast ratio and inky blacks don’t disappoint. Competitive gamers will benefit from a maximum 120Hz refresh rate and G-Sync support.

The choice of the mobile RTX 5070 with 8GB of VRAM has been somewhat controversial. With limited memory, demanding games can struggle at the screen’s native resolution. Although DLSS 4 upscaling and multi-frame generation help, setting the display to 1080p may be necessary. Unfortunately, unlike some competing gaming laptops, more powerful Blackwell GPUs aren’t available.

Gamers shouldn’t have concerns with the 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM that ships with the Razer laptop. The only drawback is that the soldered memory is not upgradeable. If the 1TB SSD of storage isn’t sufficient, owners can replace the single drive installed in the M.2 NVMe slot.

Design choices often are more critical with sleek 14-inch notebooks. With the 2025 iteration, Razer managed to slim down the 3.59-pound machine to 0.62 inches thick. However, build quality is again stellar with an aluminum-heavy construction.

How the Blade 14 stacks up against its rivals

The Razer Blade 14 is frequently compared to the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14. Razer’s contender may feel a bit sturdier, but the G14 with RTX 5070 Ti is a better match for its 3K OLED display. Regardless, the current gaming laptop deal makes the Blade a stronger value.

Buyers can choose from Black or Mercury colorways with the Blade 14. Both options are $1799.99, which is at least $100 lower than the previous low Amazon sale price.
