Segway unveils E3 Go entry-level e-scooter with 25 mile range, suspension, and 10” tires

Segway has unveiled the entry-level E3 Go electric scooter for buyers looking to use it for their daily commutes across their local communities. The 800W e-scooter has a range of up to 25 miles (40.2 km) and can handle slopes up to 18 degrees. Traction control is included for safer rides across uneven and slippery surfaces.
The E3 Go has a 276 Wh battery rated for up to 11 miles (17.7 km) at the e-scooter’s maximum speed of 20 mph (32.2 kph) and up to 25 miles (40.2 km) at its most-efficient, slower speed. The battery takes 5.5 hours to recharge when depleted. The battery is shielded from water splashes inside the E3 Go’s IPX5-rated body.

For safety, the 46.7 lbs. (21.2 kg) E3 Go rides on 10-inch tubeless tires, with a drum brake up front and an e-brake in the rear to help stop passengers weighing up to 220 lbs. (99.8 kg). SegRide Stability Enhancement and traction control technologies help keep the rider upright during turns across uneven and slippery surfaces, while a 2-watt front headlight, rear brake light, and handlebar turn signals help keep the e-scooter visible, especially at night. A mechanical bell is attached to the handlebar for audible warnings to other drivers and riders.
For comfort and convenience, the e-scooter rides on a dual-coil front suspension that can help soak up minor cracks, potholes, and bumps in the road. Riders can monitor range and speed on the 2.8-inch display and find lost or stolen scooters using the Apple Find My service in their iPhones.
The Segway E3 Go has an MSRP of $649 and can be purchased from the company website. Readers can also look for its arrival in the Segway store on Amazon.
