Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra takes on Apple iPhone 18 Pro and Google Pixel 11 Pro in dummy photo comparison

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S27 series is fast approaching, as the next-generation flagship smartphones are expected to be officially unveiled as early as January or February. Alex Maxham has now used the leaked CAD files to create a dummy of the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra using a 3D printer.
Since the dummy is based on CAD files, its dimensions should be accurate, but the materials and colors do not match the final Galaxy S27 Ultra. Photos published on Android Headlines show this dummy next to a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra ($1,349 on Amazon), an Apple iPhone 18 Pro and a Google Pixel 11 Pro. The smartphone is almost exactly the same size as the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and the actual camera layout barely changes either – Samsung is simply removing one of the four cameras without replacing it.
This is reportedly the 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom and a tiny 1/3.94-inch sensor – not a major loss, as this camera's image quality can barely keep up with digital zoom from the main camera. The wide, rectangular camera module is more reminiscent of an Apple iPhone 18 Pro than a Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, the less rounded corners and the arrangement of the individual cameras mean there is no risk of confusing the two. The Galaxy S27 Ultra's corners are also less rounded than those of the Google Pixel 11 Pro, but unlike Google's phone, the cameras on Samsung's flagship do not sit flush within the camera module, instead protruding slightly beyond it.
