Samsung Galaxy Buds On gets US pricing and release date

Samsung fans in the US will not have to wait for long to get their hands on the new Galaxy Buds On. The Korean tech giant has announced its first pair of open-ear earbuds with a clip-on design in the US and has revealed pricing and availability details.
The Galaxy Buds On was originally unveiled at the beginning of October in Korea, alongside the Galaxy Tab S12 series and the Galaxy SmartTag 3. It then announced pricing and availability afterwards for its home country. While Samsung did confirm that the earbuds will eventually get a global release, it didn't say when. Thankfully, the wait wasn't a long one as the earbuds have now landed in the US.
The Galaxy Buds On will be available in Black just like the Korean version, and will be released on November 6 for $229, $20 less than the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro cost at launch (available on Amazon for $249.99). Samsung has already put up a product page on its US website, which means the earbuds should be available to buy there. However, we expect them to be sold by third-party retailers, too.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds On feature a TwinBoost Speaker system made up of dual 11.3mm dynamic drivers. They have support for 24-bit/96kHz Hi-Fi audio, 360 audio, sound leakage cancellation, and Auracast. There's also support for hands-free access to Google Gemini and Samsung's own Bixby.
The earbuds can be paired to multiple devices and will automatically switch between paired devices. The Galaxy Buds On support voice commands for controlling playback, answering calls, and controlling the volume. There's also gesture controls for answering and rejecting calls. The earbuds have a 61mAh battery, while the charging case, which supports wireless and wired charging, has a 530mAh battery.
