RedMagic shares gaming performance figures for its new OLED tablet

RedMagic is gearing up to launch the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro in China on June 30, 2026, and it is also expected to debut globally shortly after that. Ahead of the full unveiling, the company has now shared the gaming performance of the pad.
As RedMagic shares, the OLED tablet can hold an average of 184FPS on CrossFire, while the average is said to stand at 165FPS on Delta Force. These games were tested with the visual settings set to HD and high refresh rate turned on. The 1% lows during the 60-minute test are said to be 168FPS and 157FPS, respectively.
Another game that was tested is described as a large-scale open-world title, and during the 60-minute test, the tablet is said to hold an average frame rate of 60FPS with the 1% low being 59FPS. These are respectable numbers, but it's worth noting that they all come from the company and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Alongside sharing these benchmark numbers, the company confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 of the tablet will be paired with the Core R4 chipset. This combination is said to deliver an enhanced gaming experience by providing additional optimizations.
Like the last-gen RedMagic Astra, the upcoming gaming tablet will come with a PC game emulator pre-installed (GameSir G8 Plus tablet controller curr. $55.99 on Amazon). It has support for Steam games, and there should be a desktop mode as well.
Other confirmed specs include a water cooling setup that's paired with an active cooling fan, a 9.06-inch OLED display with a peak brightness rating of 1,600 nits, and a sleek overall design. RedMagic is expected to share more details in the coming days.
