Razer Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition controller for PS5 launched: Laser-etched glass, TMR sticks, and more
Razer released its Raiju V3 Pro controller for PS5 and PC in October last year as a competitor to the DualSense Edge from Sony. It has now released a special edition of the same controller with some design changes but no real performance improvements.
Razer Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition
The Signature Edition features a magnesium alloy exoskeleton with an open-air design. Parts of the top and the back have triangle-shaped cutouts that match the touchpad area, though the touchpad is covered with laser-etched glass. The openings on the back also seem to be protected with glass to prevent dust and debris from getting in. The top, however, is left exposed.
The micro-textured TPU grip seems to be slightly different from the original. Interestingly, the weight has gone up by two grams despite the cutouts. Besides these visual changes, it’s the same as the original. You get TMR thumbsticks, removable back buttons, dual-stop triggers, and a 2,000 Hz polling rate with the included dongle. The Razer Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition, like the original, is officially licensed for the PS5 and supports PC as well.
Price and availability
Razer has not shared pricing and availability yet. The original Raiju V3 Pro launched at $220 but can now be purchased for as low as $198 from Amazon (at the time of publishing). The Signature Edition will likely cost more at launch.
