Premium Motorola phone makes Geekbench debut with powerful chipset

The Motorola Signature 27 is set to launch on November 5, 2026. It is positioned as the company's flagship smartphone, succeeding the Motorola Signature that launched in January 2026. The company has already revealed several details about the Signature 27, including that it will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset based on a 2nm process.
Ahead of its release, the Signature 27 has appeared on Geekbench 7.1, revealing its early performance scores. The listing shows the device running Android 17, while its 10.94GB of listed memory suggests a 12GB RAM configuration.
Its eight CPU cores are divided into three clusters: three cores at 3.74GHz, three at 4.03GHz, and two at 5.01GHz. The phone recorded 3,313 points in the single-core CPU test and 11,088 points in the multi-core CPU test.
For comparison, the previous-generation Motorola Signature (curr. $1,049 on Amazon) used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The chipset is manufactured on a 3nm process and has CPU speeds of up to 3.8GHz.
Some confirmed features of the Signature 27 include a 165Hz display, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
