PlayStation celebrates 30 years of Gran Turismo with special DualSense controller

This year is Gran Turismo's 30th anniversary, and in celebration, PlayStation has announced a limited edition DualSense controller based on the racing game. The new controller will be available in limited quantities across the globe, with pre-orders starting later this month and eventual release at the end of the year.
The DualSense Wireless Controller – Gran Turismo Limited Edition has two black racing stripes on the touchpad, while the front plate has a carbon fibre-like design. There are also motorsport-inspired graphics all over the front of the controller. The shoulder and trigger buttons, just like the rest of the back are plain black with no special markings or design.
PlayStation says the DualSense Wireless Controller – Gran Turismo Limited Edition will be available to pre-order starting on October 22 at 10 AM local time (10 AM ET) for $84.99 in the US, €84.99 in the Eurozone, £74.99 in the UK, and ¥12,480 in Japan. It will then be released globally on December 10.
The controller will be available to pre-order from PlayStation via direct.playstation.com for those in the US while those in UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg will be able to place their orders through PlayStation website. PlayStation also says the controller will be available through participating retailers, but didn't specify which, so you may want to check your local Amazon store.
In addition to the launch of the new controller, PlayStation has also released a new free update for Gran Turismo 7 that brings six new vehicles such as the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, Ferrari F355 Berlinetta ’94, Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Evo ’26, and Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line ’23. The update, which will be available on October 15, also brings new world circuit events, an experience mode, and new car viewer features.
