Oppo is planning to expand its lineup of SuperVOOC chargers with a new 120W model. While it already sells a 120W charger, the upcoming model will have three ports instead of two.

Details of an upcoming charger from Oppo has surfaced. The charger, which has three ports and a maximum power output of 120W, has been spotted in the China Compulsory Certification database.

According to the certification documents, the Oppo 120W three-port charger has a single USB-A port and two USB-C ports. While all three ports can output 120W at a time, the power output drops when two or three devices are connected simultaneously.

When two devices are connected, the output is split between 80W and 67W or 80W and 60W. When all three ports are in use, the outputs are 45W + 45W + 33W. The spec sheet also mentions lower outputs when two ports (45W + 45W) or all three ports (30W + 33W + 33W) are in use. We want to believe this is for oppo's SuperVOOC mode, as is the case with Oppo's 120W dual-port charger which has higher PD outputs and lower SuperVOOC outputs.

There's no info about what the charger looks like, but if we could wager a guess, we believe Oppo will stick to its “small square bottle” design used for its 120W SuperVOOC dual-port charger. We also presume that the upcoming charger will launch under the OnePlus brand, just as Oppo has done with its previous power banks and chargers.

With respect to pricing, Oppo sells its 120W dual-port charger for CNY 269 (~$40), so this triple port version is expected to cost more. If you are on a budget, Amazon has a 120W 3-port GaN charger for $26.24, although the USB-A port has a max-output of 18W, while each of the USB-C ports can output 100W.
