Oppo has officially announced the A7 Pro Max, featuring the largest battery ever in an Oppo smartphone. Already available for preorder in China, the budget phone was previously rumored to feature a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC and a 6.78-inch 120 Hz OLED display.

After several leaks and rumors, Oppo has officially unveiled the A7 Pro Max as the newest addition to its budget A-series lineup. As previously rumored, the phone features a massive 10,000mAh battery, the largest ever in an Oppo smartphone. That puts it ahead of the previous Oppo A6 Pro 4G, which packs a 7,000mAh battery, as well as other recently announced phones like the Redmi Note 17 Pro with its 9,000mAh battery.

Oppo is still keeping most of the hardware under wraps, but the promotional images confirm the phone uses a single-cell 10,000mAh battery with a rated capacity of 9,700mAh. The company also claims it can retain 80% of its original capacity after 1,500 full charge cycles. The images further reveal a blue color option and a redesigned rear camera island that closely resembles the iPhone 17 Pro (Notebookcheck review).

According to previous rumors, the A7 Pro Max is expected to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset paired with a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The phone is also tipped to offer a 50MP front camera, a 50MP main rear camera, and a 2MP secondary sensor, all in a body that's said to be slimmer than the iPhone 17 Pro (8.47mm vs 8.75mm) while weighing 226 grams.

Oppo has yet to announce pricing or a launch date, but the A7 Pro Max is already available to reserve in China for 0.01 yuan.
