June 15, 2026 07:26 PM GMT update: The OneXPlayer X2 Mini Pro campaign on Indiegogo has launched with a slight increase in pricing under $20. Instead of $2,459.99, the 48GB+1TB entry configuration is now priced at $2,466.26, and the $2,859.99 64GB+2TB configuration is now $2,877.44. The Early Bird pricing has one set of prices for both the Standard and Liquid-Cooled versions, suggesting that the revised pricing is based on the latter. All Early Bird configurations ship with the OneXPlayer, detachable controllers, controller connector, magnetic keyboard, and carry bag.
Additional details on this Surface Pro killer have been revealed as well. The controller connector weighs 99 g (3.5 oz.) and comes with a 1,100 mAh battery, allowing the use of the detached controllers for up to 12 hours, notes the company. The controllers come with Hall-effect sticks with 9 mm height, 22-degree stick angle, and customizable LED lighting. They are also equipped with Hall-effect shoulder triggers with an adjustable travel distance.

The liquid-cooled version has a 120W max TDP (when connected to the Frost Bay cooler), while the standard air-cooled version has an 80W max TDP (when connected to its 240W GaN fast charger) using dual 5,400 RPM fans pushing up to 6.7 CFM each. The handheld PC has a 55W max TDP when powered only by the battery or USB port. The optional, external Frost Bay liquid cooler is priced at $154.16, and additional 85 Wh batteries are $82.21.
When the 380 g (0.84 lbs.) battery is removed and connected using the optional battery-to-device cable, the standard unit weighs just 719 g (1.56 lbs.). The tablet PC can also be connected to the optional charging dock for continuous, uninterrupted play.

Popular AI models, including DeepSeek, Llama, MiniCPM, and Qwen, can be installed with one click, but for OpenClaw users will need to follow AMD's multi-step instructions for installing OpenClaw on Ryzen AI Max+ CPUs. Models can be installed to the internal M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD (up to 6,000-7000~ MB/s read/write), mini SSDs like the Biwin CL100 (up to 3,500~ MB/s R/W), and microSD UHS-I cards (up to 300~ MB/s read). The handheld tablet also has USB-C 4.0, USB-C 3.2, and USB-A 3.2 ports, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The X2 Mini Pro comes with an 8.8-inch 1,920 x 1,200 OLED display, with a 30 Hz to 144 Hz variable refresh rate (VRR) and a 0.1 ms response time. The anti-reflection-coated panel has a peak brightness of 700 cd/m2 (475 cd/m2 typical), 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 and sRGB color spaces.
Shipping is scheduled to begin at the end of July 2026.

OneXPlayer has officially announced pricing for the new X2 Mini Pro, an 8.8-inch OLED handheld PC, equipped with up to 64 GB of RAM to power OpenClaw, local AI applications, and popular video games. The X2 Mini Pro also comes with a magnetic snap-on keyboard for use as a 2-in-1 PC laptop.

The OpenClaw-capable handheld is powered by AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 388, an 8C/16T CPU with a 120W maximum TDP and a 5 GHz boost clock. The chip delivers 50 NPU TOPS of AI compute performance, with 118 TOPS of total combined performance, which is far above the 11 to 38 TOPS of the Apple Mac Mini M1 to M4 Neural Engines.
OneXPlayer includes one-click deployment of popular local AI models for convenience, eliminating the multiple steps required for manual installation, such as what is required when installing OpenClaw on Ryzen AI Max+ CPUs.
The X2 Mini Pro ships with 1 TB or 2 TB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 4 TB. Additional storage can be added via a mini SSD up to 2 TB and a microSD card up to 2 TB, allowing a combined total of 8 TB. This is ideal for the installation of large AI LLMs as well as multiple AAA game titles.
The gaming PC handheld is also equipped with an 8.8-inch 144 Hz VRR OLED display, detachable game controllers, and a user-replaceable 85 Wh battery. A charging dock enables uninterrupted gameplay.
