OnePlus has confirmed its next new Android smartphone is on the way. The device has the same new flat-edged design language of the brand's latest handsets, although it is also already apparent that it is the budget version of the 50MP OIS rear camera Nord CE4. It is slated to become available to pre-order with a free gift in select regions soon.

OnePlus has confirmed that another Nord-series smartphone is on the way - although it is the Lite version of the 5G CE4 rather than the line's long-awaited 2024 flagship. Nevertheless, the device might fit into the brand's line-up quite as well as the Ace 3 in terms of looks.

The "new Nord" is depicted as a device quite like the CE4 thus far - albeit without the unique Celadon Marble finish (as seen on Amazon.in) or round ring-flash for its new camera hump.

Instead, the CE3 Lite successor will have a choice of 2 colors (one of which is the gradient blue in which it has been teased thus far, and another that remains a mystery for now), although it does get the same new Sony LYT-600 sensor, with OIS to boot, as its non-Lite counterpart.

OnePlus has yet to divulge any further specs for its upcoming mid-ranger, besides hints that it is backed to deliver an "Absurdly Entertaining" experience throughout the day.

The Nord CE4 Lite's pre-orders are slated to start "soon" with Nord Buds 2 as an early-bird gift; however, it seems that event will be exclusive to the European and Indian markets, as a subsequent release to North America under a different name is only the stuff of rumor at present.
