OnePlus has now released its first refresh of the OnePlus 12 (curr. $699.99 on Amazon), roughly a week after the company began teasing its launch. To recap, the new version of the OnePlus 12 contains the same hardware as the device that OnePlus introduced in December 2023. Likewise, this new new option is technically identical to the global version of the OnePlus 12 that arrived at the end of January 2024.
Consequently, it utilises a 5,400 mAh battery, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and LPDDR5X RAM. Moreover, the OnePlus 12 boasts the company's largest vapour chamber cooling system, which is said to measure 9,140 mm². On top of that, OnePlus continues to equip the OnePlus 12 with its '4th Gen Hasselblad' camera system, which centres around a Sony LYT-808 main sensor and a 3x telephoto camera.
Instead, OnePlus' refresh consists of a new colour option, which it describes as 'Glacial White'. As expected, the OnePlus 12 Glacial White edition start at INR 64,999 (~$779), down from an INR 69,999 (~$839) MSRP. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on an international release for the first OnePlus 12 refresh yet.
