The OnePlus 12 (curr. $879.99 on Amazon) has been around for over six months at this point. However, that is only true in China, where OnePlus announced it on December 5 as one of the first smartphones sporting a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. By contrast, OnePlus waited until the end of January 2024 before releasing the OnePlus 12 internationally.
Now, OnePlus has decided to refresh the OnePlus 12, which it describes in outlandish terms like it being 'a spectrum of power' and providing the 'perfect balance between powerful features and a design inspired by the serenity of life'. Ultimately, OnePlus is only offering a new colour option, a teaser video for which we have embedded below.
Similarly, OnePlus only plans to sell its new Glacial White model in India, where it maintains significant market influence. For reference, the new Glacial White colour option will go on sale first next Monday at 12:00 IST (06:30 UTC) before a full launch on June 6. The new OnePlus 12 should contain the same underlying hardware as the original model though, including a 1440p chipset, a 5,400 mAh battery and a series of high megapixel cameras.
